Product Research
The Product Research tool helps you discover what’s selling on Poshmark so you can make smarter sourcing decisions.
Searching for Products
- Open the Sourcing tab
- Enter a product name or description in the search bar
- View results with sales data and statistics
You can also search by image — take a photo or choose one from your gallery and Poshwatch will find matching products.
Understanding Results
Key Statistics
Each search shows a stats grid with insights about the market for that product:
- Color-coded badges indicate how strong the market is (green = strong, orange = moderate, red = weak)
- Tap the info icon on any stat for a detailed explanation
Listings Table
Results are displayed in a table showing:
- Photo — Listing thumbnail
- Title — With condition and status badges
- Price — Listed or sold price
- Sold Date — When the item sold (for sold items)
- Time to Sell — How long it took from listing to sale
- Likes — Number of likes
- Shares — Number of shares
Toggle between Sold and Available listings to see what’s already sold vs. what’s currently for sale.
Filtering Results
Use the filter chips to narrow results by:
- Brands — Filter by specific brands
- Categories — Filter by product category
- Sizes — Filter by size
- Colors — Filter by color
- Styles — Filter by style
- Departments — Filter by department
- Conditions — Filter by item condition
Sorting
Sort results by price, sold date, time to sell, likes, or shares in ascending or descending order.
Tips
- Look for products with high sell-through rates and short time-to-sell
- Compare sold prices to available prices to gauge demand
- Use filters to find your specific niche within a product category
